Horizons aims to support Investors in successful implementation of offshore wind projects in Poland, in particular in the project preparation and development phase until participation in the auction to cover negative balance.
With European Green Deal, offshore wind becomes a vital element of the Polish energy mix as stated in the draft of Poland’s 2040 Energy Policy, announced in September 2020.
To facilitate this rapid growth Poland plans to adopt an Offshore Wind Act (OWA) and Maritime Spatial Plan (MSP) by Q4 2020 and Q1 2021, respectively.
Adoption of the above regulations sets a fresh start, especially for new Investors to enter the Polish Offshore Market.
With first class understanding of local requirements, experience in offshore and large scale projects as well as effective network, Horizons is well positioned to support new Investors in successful implementation of offshore wind projects in Poland.
Our offer includes i.a.:
- Identification of actual investment opportunities in OW in Poland
- Preparation of seabed permit application effectively responding to the permit awarding criteria, focusing on Investor’s differentiating factors
- Project management and support in preparation of auction admission certificate
